Eduardo renews contract until 2013
Goalkeeper Eduardo renewed yesterday, Thursday, his contract with Braga, for another season, so will be connected to Minho club until 2013.
The Portuguese international had a contract just for one more season with the current leaders of Sagres League, and speaking to the club's website, expressed his satisfaction with the agreement, and stated he was "very grateful" to the club.
Seen as one of Braga's team most important assets, the renewal of Eduardo comes just months before the expected participation in 2010' World Cup in South Africa, where he presents himself as leading candidate to be number "1" of Portuguese national team.
