Wourld Cup: Portugal will be housed in Valley Lodge

The Portuguese national football team will be hosted in Valley Lodge, in Magaliesburg, during 2010's World Cup in South Africa, the first choice of Federation. The Portuguese team will always travel by air to the games of the competition.

Carlos Godinho stressed this Friday that FPF agreed with FIFA and chose Valley Lodge, a venture between Pretoria and Johannesburg, situated 45 minutes from the airport, which makes the tranfers for the games, during the World Cup.

At this stage of preparation for the World Cup, the logistics on the choice of accommodation for the Portuguese team, proved to be a very relevant aspect, and even
has generated some controversy when Portugal and Brazil have chosen the same infrastructure, the Randpark Golf Club, located in northern Johannesburg.
