Champions League: FC Porto beats Arsenal 2-1

FC Porto won today an important advantage to get back to the quarter finals of Champions League, by defeating home Arsenal to 2-1, in the Rounds first leg.

The team coached by J. Ferreira scored two strange goals for getting ahead in the tie, although the setback of suffering a blow at the Dragon, appointed by Sol Campbell on 18th minute.

First, however, Varela made the first after 11 minutes in a bid with blame for the goalkeeper of Londons team: the striker rescued from Estrela da Amadora crossed strong and Fabianski let slip the ball into the goal.

Campbell gave the ball to the goalkeeper in a natural bid to indirect freekick, and Ruben Micael gave a touch fast for Falcao, who only had to push for goal, with Arsenal completely apathetic.
