Izmailov confirms talks with Lokomotiv
Russian midfielder, speaking to the newspaper "Sport Express" says he's happy at Sporting, but is aware of the conversations between the clubs.
The deal will be formalized in the coming hours.
Russian international Marat Izmailov has acknowledged publicly, that it is on the verge of a move to Lokomotiv Moscow, speaking to the newspaper "Sport Express".
Given that Sporting rejected an initial onslaught of the Russian at the beginning of January, Izmailov is aware of Sporting's will in keeping him in Alvalade.
And he states that "I'm not disappointed that the agreement has not yet been reached," explaining that he is "happy" at the Portuguese club.
Sporting has a propose of six million from Lokomotiv Moscow for the transfer of the Russian footballer, and if the Alvalade's club confirms the sale, the international midfielder will leave the team at the end of this month.
Izmailov, 27, arrived at Sporting half of 2007/08's season on loan from Lokomotiv, before signing with the "lions" by 2013.
