Sporting: Pongolle injured in the return to work
Pongolle was absent from Sporting training on Wednesday, returning to the Academy after the defeat of day before, in Liverpool against Everton in the first leg of 16ths round of Europa League.
The French striker, who couldn't be registered by Sporting in the European competition, suffered a "stretch in the right inguinal crural" the last session, so was only by gym, performing specific work. Pongolle will be reevaluated on Wednesday.
Also in the gym worked goalkeeper Ricardo Baptista.
Who also wasn't include in training were the last game holders, so to coach Carlos Carvalhal were only available 13 players, among them the young goalkeeper Joao Figueiredo.
