Hulk and Sapunaru's condemnation reduced

The Council of Justice (CJ) of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), changed the penalty that the League's disciplinary council imposed for players Hulk and Sapunaru.

Thus, Hulk is punished by three games and fined with 2500 euros, and can not play tonight for the Portuguese Cup, since the ruling only takes effect the day after the notification, that is tomorrow.

Sapunaru is punished for four games and fined with 4500 euros.

Players and clubs are being notified and there will be a statement from the Portuguese Football Federation soon.

For the three Braga players, remains the penalty imposed by the League's Disciplinary Commission.

The League's Disciplinary Commission had suspended on 19 February, the Brazilian Hulk for four months, and Romanian Sapunaru for six, due to attacks on stewards in the access tunnel of the changing rooms of Stadium of Light, recorded after the Benfica-FC Porto (1-0), the League's 14th round, held on 20 December 2009.
