FC Porto won Rio Ave (4-0) and joins Chaves in Portuguese Cup final

FC Porto joined this Wednesday the Desportivo Chaves to the Cup of Portugal final, to receive and beaten Rio Ave 4-0, in the second leg of the semi finals, held in Porto.

After the 3-1 in first-leg, the four-times national champions, confirmed their third consecutive final in Jamor stadium, with goals from Belluschi (21 minutes), Guarin (79), Ruben Micael (86) and Falcao (90 + 2).

Only a miracle would allow the outsiders to recover, while the FC Porto, with only three owners in the usual starting eleven, were limited to meet schedule, until they were awakened with Hulk and Falcao's entry.

Various shots at both goals indicted a busy challenge, but it was pure deception once FC Porto, backing to the "4x4x2", played slow and predictable, while Rio Ave, who started well, were losing gas.

The slump was only broken with the Belluschi's goal(21') after a nonexistent foul: the Argentinian midfielder collected the free-kick seamlessly, leaving Carlos caught to the pitch.

At 33 minutes, Carlos denied it 2-0 to FC Porto, defending Farias' penalty, to punish Ricardo's foul on Valeri.

After the warm first-half, and with the final more than guaranteed, the sites remained relaxed, but, already with Hulk and Falcao in the field, took complete control of the game, before a resigned opponent.

A Guarin's "pump" (79') from outside the area, his first touch on the ball seconds after entering, was a great moment, as at 86', when Ruben Micael used the same power on the ball, and in the boundary line of the area,
did 3-0.

Two minutes after throwing the post, Falcao has headed the fourth and final goal, already in extra time.
