Sporting: Players forbidden from givin' interviews
The SAD Sporting issued a statement on Friday which informs that the players are forbidden from giving interviews, and that journalists will have access only to 15 minutes of teams training.
From now the Lions aren't allowed to give interviews to any media organization, the only exceptions being the interviews already scheduled and those related only to the World Cup, in South Africa.
This decision of Sporting's leaders, was justified by the need to "safeguard the working group", also implies also that the access to information will be "restricted to 15 minutes of training " and "the usual press conferences before and after games. "
Despite this position, the Sporting SAD ensures that "Sporting players will not leave, however, to participate in solidarity initiatives or of similar nature, as the social component is always our priorities."
