Sporting pays homage to Iordanov
Sporting honor this Wednesday Ivaylo Iordanov, with a game in the Alvalade Stadium between a team composed of "lions" former glories, of the late nineties, and friends of the Bulgarian player.
Iordanov, now aged 42, marked a decade in Sporting, between 1990/91 and 2000/01, by winning three trophies -the Cup of Portugal, in 1995-96, with two goals in the final, the Super Bowl the next year, and the coveted championship in 1999/00.
More than ten thousand fans could not resist the opportunity to see again Iordanov and other former stars to evolve in the new Alvalade Stadium.
Tickets for the festival were available: 3 euros for members and 5 euros to normal supporters.
