Coach Paulo Bento convenes players for the game against Cyprus

Coach Paulo Bento announced this Friday the list of 23 squad of Portuguese National Team for the game against Cyprus, on the 2nd September, for the Euro 2012 qualifying.

Portugal leads Group H of the qualifying, with ten points, along with Norway and Denmark.
The Lusitanian need to win in order to consolidate the group leading.

The defensive midfielder Miguel Veloso, of Genoa, and polyvalent Eliseu -Malaga,- are the big news in the list of the 23-man squad.
In the remaining Paulo Bento´s choices stands out the maintenance of ScBraga´s Quim, as an option to the goal, competing with the usual holder Eduardo (former Miguel Veloso´s colleague, who is on loan to Benfica), and with the Sporting Rui Patricio.

The most represented teams are Real Madrid (Ricardo Carvalho, Pepe, Fabio Coentrao and Cristiano Ronaldo) and Sporting (Rui Patricio, Joao Pereira, André Santos and Helder Postiga).
