Benfica lent Ola John to Hamburg

Hello John now speaks as reinforcement of Hamburg. On loan from Benfica until the end of the season, the Dutchman, 21, spoke to the club's official website and ensured that didn't hesitate before deciding signing for German side.

"The HSV [Hamburg] will count on the young striker Ola John. Aged 21 and Liberian origin, the player arrives until the end of the season on loan from the 'Giant' Benfica and can be used both on the right or the left," says the club.

 The 21-years-old wing heads to Hamburg on loan from Benfica without purchase option, who has a contract until 2017 and a transfer fee of 45 million euros.

Numbers of the loan were not disclosed, but info on Friday announced that Hamburg will pay 700,000 euros for the ceding, and the whole of salaries from the player. 
 News contradicted by the German press, referring that Benfica save the wages, but will not receive any further sum for the loan.

 The young promise made ​​nine appearances for Benfica in 2013/14, three as a starter, scoring one goal in the Portuguese Cup .
