League cup: Sporting Braga lost in Trofa

Sporting Braga lost in Trofa and lost any chance of qualifying for the semi-finals of Portuguese League Cup.
The team suffered the fifth defeat of the season (two in the qualifying round of Europa League, one on championship and two in the League Cup).

In Trofa, under a deluge that left the lawn next to unplayable, Braga confirmed the difficulties in competitions to eliminate, and added a second defeat in the race. First at Alvalade, now in Trofa and make sure that the third game will only serve to meet schedule.

Trofense goalkeeper was primarily responsible for Braga's defeat. He left the first warnings from the start, went on a great performance in the second half, added a handful of excellent saves and dragged the minimal advantage to the end.

The second part was indeed all of Braga.
Trailing the marker, the team was launched forward and Domingos pushed Trofense to the rear. Launched two strikers (Paulo César and Adriano), and an extreme (Osvaldo), finished the game with five forwards and placed the center of the game at Trofense's area.

When missing fifteen minutes to the end, Filipe Goncalves was sent off for a stretch of Bruno Paixão (shown a red card in a foull, where was only justified the yellow).
Thereafter, Trofense left only one player in front. All the rest was in the area. What helped to keep the emotion up to the end.

The game was also very good. Especially considering the weather conditions that presented itself, was well worth it.
There were chances, rhythm, struggle, uncertainty and emotion in the marker to the end.
Even without much of the holders (Moises, Mossoró, Paulo César, Alan and Meyong), Braga has always control.

Trofense defended himself as he could, made a dug between the midfield line (indented) and advanced (three mens well advanced) and by counter-attack created good chances. The first part also yielded several moves of danger between two teams seeking to win.

The goal could fall either way. Fell to Trofense side.
Following a corner of Hélder Sousa, Mercio takes a marking failure and nods at the far post. Kieszek, Vandinho and Leone share the guilt on the goal that dictated Braga's defeat in Trofa.

In the process, and already the second half, Braga had a disallowed goal for Adriano's offside, but nothing to point to Bruno Paixão, once the striker was in deed to advanced.

At this time the team of Domingos was running against time; but has been late. After League Europe, the elimination of the League Cup.
