D'Onofrio leads police to search the Dragon

Belgian and Portuguese police are conducting searches in the offices of FC Porto SAD in Estadio do Dragao.
The case is related to the businessman Luciano D'Onofrio, who in 2009 had motivated similar searches to Barcelona, for Real Madrid's complaint.

They seek documents related to the manager Luciano D'Onofrio, who in the 90's negotiated transfers of players with FC Porto, and wich is subject of judicial investigations in Belgium.

Porto has already notified the Commission of Securities Market about the steps: "Today, by 10 hours, elements of the Portuguese and Belgian judicial police visited the facilities of FC Porto, in pursuance of a letter of request coming from the Belgian justice," reads the statement, puted online at 15:48 hours.

"In this sense, were asked several aspects of the company International Marketing Agency wich after following the certificates were awarded," stated F. C. Porto, in the document it can be read the website of the CMVM.

The Belgian Justice confirmed too that the former manager and currents Standard Liege vice-president, Luciano D'Onofrio, is the target of this investigation that led to the searches in FC Porto SAD's offices.

Speaking to the Belgian press, the investigating judge Philippe Richard, responsible for the matter, confirmed that " was opened an investigation into Luciano D'Onofrio in 2004, on suspicion of money laundering, forgery and use of forgery, and abuse of public social", which has led to various searches since then.
