Fernando Santos is the coach of decade in Greece

Fernando Santos, currently in PAOK Thessaloniki was named coach of the decade, in an organized campaign by the Greek Football League.

The coach came to Greece in 2001 to train the AEK Athens, finishing the season in second place. The following season, joined the rival Panathinaikos and ended the Greek Championship in fourth place.

However passed through Portugal to coach Sporting Lisbon in 2003/2004 season, but returned to Greece and to AEK Athens, where was two years. Got a third and second place.

In 2006, Fernando Santos trains Benfica and exits in 2007, early in the season. At the same time, Fernando Santos was invited to train the PAOK and remains there until now.
Currently occupies the 3rd Place in the championship, to six points behind leaders Panathinaikos.

Before starting his adventure in Greece, in 2001, Fernando Santos coached Estoril, Estrela da Amadora and FC Porto, where won Porto's fifth in a row title.
