FIFA confirms suspension of Rodriguez

FIFA has confirmed that the Uruguayan international Cristian Rodriguez, FC Porto, will have to fully comply with four games, the punishment imposed.
This may call into question the presence of the athlete in the World-2010.

Rodriguez was sent off for allegedly attacked an opponent in the match against Argentina, where they lost 1-0, played on 14 October 2009, qualifying for the World-2010.

FIFA decided to punish Rodriguez for four games, and the athlete has already served two games of suspension.

However, Uruguayan Federation asked if the individual against Switzerland in March, entered in the accounts of punishment, but the organ governing the world football said that only applies to official matches.

This may call into question the presence of Rodriguez in the World-2010, because the player will miss the first two games.
