Queiroz calls Varela

Calling the winger Varela, of FC Porto, is the main novelty in the squad of Carlos Queiroz to the private meeting with China, to be held in Coimbra on March 3rd.

Of the 17 inviteds, highlights too are the returns of Pedro Mendes, Hugo Almeida, and Cristiano Ronaldo, away from recents meetings due to injuries.

Ruben Micael (FC Porto), and Fabio Coentrão (Benfica) indicated as eligible for the clash with China, were called to the Under-23.
