Queiroz punches commentator

The national coach Carlos Queiroz has lost his head yesterday in the VIP room (lounge) from Lisbon airport to attack with a punch Jorge Baptista, SIC News commentator who is also entrusted with the UEFA delegate.
It all happened about half an hour before the plane's departure to Warsaw, capital of Poland, where both have been present at the draw for the qualifying campaign for Euro 2012.

According to the newspaper "Diario de noticias," upon entering the room, the Portuguese coach went to Batista, who was sitting up and talking on the phone, with a phrase that sparked the whole conflict: "So no longer need me to work!?"
This expression is inserted in a given context, whose origin dates back to 1991.

According to the daily, that year Carlos Queiroz has indicated the journalist then to the president of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) in office - Joao Rodrigues- for him to be the press secretary for the FIFA World Under-20, which Portugal hosted.
Thereafter, Jorge Baptista started a connection to the body that runs the world football, having played these roles in several world championships of seniors.
The coach believes, therefore, that Batista criticism, recently maked to his work in the Portuguese selection, represents a lack of gratitude for what happened 19 years ago.

This phrase gave rise to an exchange of words between the two that culminated in "a closed fist punch" of the coach who reached the commentator "clipped to his ear."

The disagreement was reported by about 20 people who witnessed the whole scene, including the sporting director of selections, Carlos Godinho, and the press secretary of the federation, Onofre Costa.
Jorge Baptista tried to respond to the attacks "with kicks and Queiroz tried to continue its assault.
All this confusion wasn't only of higher proportions due to the intervention of passengers who came between them ...
