Under-21: Portugal lost Sweden ( 0-2 result)

The Portuguese national team football under-21 lost today with Sweden by 0-2, in particular game played at Estadio Municipal de Aveiro, doing a wicked test to the qualify for the European 2011.

The 'eleven' Portuguese dominated the match but had no insight to successfully complete any of the opportunities created over the 90 minutes.
Instead, Sweden has been extremely effective, as it finalized the two occasions produced.

This game served as a preparation for the games of qualifying to Euro2011, with Lithuania (away), England and Macedonia (at home), in which Portugal is bound to win, to still dream about the difficult qualifying to the competition.

Portugal dominated throughout the first half but squandered a handful of occasions.
Castro, at the very beginning, and Faria, to 16 minutes, were unable to hit the nets. Similarly "rowed" André Santos and Bruno Pereirinha (this one twice), who have approached the goal of Viktor Noring, shooting or over, or on the side.
In between, a 'thread' of the Swedish goalkeeper, after a teams mate delay , almost resulted in a goal, but the ball eventually came out the bottom line and the zero remained until the interval.

In the second half came the goals and emotion. Sweden has got better, with Erton to isolate himself and beating the new arrived Diego Silva with a hat, making it 1-0 on 52 minutes.

First, despite some changes made by picker Oceano Cruz at breaking time, Portugal entered the second half playing the same way: shooting 'bombs' out of area ... but always noncompliant with the target, as was the case of Ukra and Andre Pinto, at 48 and 49 minutes.

The Portuguese game continued empty of ideas, with Candeias to shoot over the bar by far (62 ') and soon after (63 '), Sweden was lethal, with Denni Avdic marking of head, following a corner-kick.

By the end, have seen more of the same, with the Portuguese players to play with kicks to the air, in an uncoordinated manner and without any built edmoves.
