IFFHS ranking: Benfica best Portuguese , Sporting Braga sixth
March's ranking (between April 2009 and last month) of the International Federation of Football History and Statistics(IFFHS) is led by Barcelona, Spanish and European champions, being chased by Estudiantes de La Plata (Argentina) and Werder Bremen ( Germany), both in the second position.
The best Portuguese emblem is Benfica.
Benfica appears only in 28th position, six points ahead of FC Porto, who is 34th, and three of European leagues rival, Liverpool.
Following Portuguese are the Sporting, position 40th, and League's leader deputy, the SC Braga, appears in 235th position. The Minho Portuguese club are sixth, behind the big three( Benfica, Sporting, Fc Porto) and also the Nacional Madeira(195th) and Pacos de Ferreira (231th).
Benfica also climbed 20 places, once occupied the 48th place, while FC Porto was down from 28th to 34th.
SC Braga's fall is greater, since they were in 190th place, and are now 235th.
