24 Portuguese summoned list for the World Cup

Carlos Queiroz announced on Monday a list of 24 summoned for the World Cup in South Africa.
Queiroz has called an extra player in view, it is thought, the clinical situation of Pepe, that still dubious.

The big surprise are the inclusion of Daniel Fernandes -Iraklis goalkeeper, Ricardo Costa -defender of Lille, and Ze Castro - Deportivo Coruna defender.
The big absence is undoubtedly Joao Moutinho, who since long hasn't missed a call.

DEFENDERS: Paulo Ferreira (Chelsea), Miguel (Valência), Bruno Alves (F.C. Porto), Ricardo Carvalho (Chelsea), Rolando (F.C. Porto), Ricardo Costa (Lille), Duda (Málaga), Zé Castro (Dep. Corunha) e Fábio Coentrão (Benfica);

MIDFIELDERS: Pepe (Real Madrid), Pedro Mendes (Sporting), Raul Meireles (F.C. Porto), Deco (Chelsea), Miguel Veloso (Sporting) e Tiago (Atl. Madrid);
