Portuguese team's stage starts with seven players

Five degrees and a hotel in the middle of the Serra da Estrela, waited today the first seven players to start the preparing stage of the national soccer team for the World-Cup 2010.

"I'm used to," laughed Nani, who arrived from short sleeves to the 'Serra da Estrela' hotel and full of confidence:

Fabio Coentrão, the only player from national champions Benfica, admitted he is fulfilling a dream. He married a week ago, without any honeymoon, but he's not upset, "Now I just have head to the World Cup."

The stage began dropper with only seven players; Coentrão, Nani, plus the three Sporting players - Pedro Mendes, Liedson and Miguel Veloso.
The goalkeeper Daniel Fernandes, who plays for Iraklis in Greece, and Eduardo from Braga, are already in Covilhã too.
The remaining players arrive until later end this month.
