Sporting: Tiago renews, Couceiro and Stojkovic terminates
Jose Couceiro's contract with Sporting terminated by mutual agreement, announced the president of Sporting, Godinho Lopes, Thursday.
The head of the Alvalade club also revealed the contract's renewal of goalkeeper Tiago aswell the final termination with the Serbian Stojkovic.
Jose Couceiro was appointed as future responsible for the SportingCP Academy, but six months after he arrived, is leaving already.
"At this stage of the Sporting career was preferable to make an agreement for termination. It was by mutual agreement, then by the will of the parties", revealed Godinho Lopes, who also revealed that the management of the Academy will be delivered to Luis Duque, executive director, that holds the responsibility of formation and professional football.
The president also revealed that, in addition to Tiago, the club has come forward with proposals for renovations to other players, but chose not to advance any names.
