After Olhanense, now H1N1 case in Benfica

Benfica announced yesterday on his website a case of infection with the H1N1 virus in junior's team player Wagner Silva, that has been in Brazil, and a second suspected case, both under control.


All activities of junior team were then suspended yesterday ,because he had already trained with the team-mates before submitting the symptoms and according to responsible of clinical team, Bento Leitão,these measure was only taken in order to preventing similar cases.

According doctor Leitão,although feeling well,the infected player,who had no contact with players of the main team, was quarantined.


The other player under suspicion is the goalkeeper Bruno Barros, 17 years,roommate of the Brazilian at the Benfica Academy, which is under observation from the medical team.
