FC Porto will require a compensation ( Hulk )

FC Porto will prosecute the League's Disciplinary Committee (DC) in order to achieve their accountability and also a compensation for caused damages, by the decision to suspend Hulk for four months, time which prevented the Brazilian forward, to play in 18 games, in national evidences.

According to the newspaper "Diario de Noticias", the dragons claim will be based on the possible devaluation of the player, taking into account the transfer market, but also the amounts that FC Porto will not receive by not goin' next years Champions League:
the case will take into account that Hulk's lack mortgaged the chances of J. Ferreira's team to reach in the Portuguese League, a place of access to next season's Champions.

If, in this case, the benchmarks will be 18.7 million (won this year by the dragons), in the case of Hulk's hypothetical devaluation, the issue is not so lineal.
"It is never good a player to be stopped, either by punishment or by injury," Carlos Janela to DN, an expert on market players, making it clear that in this particular case, "one player is never depreciated in just three months."

In fact, Janela even considers the Brazilian's value- "will be around 20 to 25 million" - "was not nipped in part, once he played the games in Champions League, more media competition in the football world, at clubs level".
