Portugal's qualifying Calendar for Euro-2012

The draw of qualifying's schedule for Euro 2012, to be held in Poland and Ukraine, dictated the Portuguese team will have to travel to Iceland and Denmark in October (2010 and 2011, respectively).
The visit to Norway, another northern Europeean opponent, is arranged as early as September. The campaign begins on September 3, with the Cyprus' visit.

The group H games schedule was agreed today, after the five countries federations have failed to reach an agreement on the order of the matches.
Therefore, the UEFA Executive Committee dealt with the subject.

Thus, Portugal starts the qualifying campaign for Euro 2012, with a reception to Cyprus on 3 September this year.
The final game, however, is scheduled for 11 October 2011 with a complicated voyage (by the opponent and by the cold begins to feel at that time) to Denmark.

The trip to Iceland, another Nordic country, also occurs in October, but in 2010.
The Portuguese team, still plays on Norwegian soil a month before.
