Portugal Cup: FC Porto and Chaves want final in the North
The two finalists of Cup of Portugal, FC Porto and Desportivo de Chaves, claim the decisive game to take place, not in the National Stadium, but on a stage located north of the country.
The intention of both emblems was assumed, in statements to the RADIO RENASCENÇA, by the D. Chaves president, Mário Carneiro.
However, the Portuguese Football Federation has come to warn, through its vice president Amandio de Carvalho, for the fact that the competition rules stipulate that the Portuguese Cup final will be held at the National Stadium, only allowing the transfer to another venue in a very exceptional case.
